Company History

After decades in the MedTech sector, holding senior leadership roles across Germany, Switzerland, and the United States, Walter Mutschler established and developed the German subsidiary of a U.S.-based company. The organization integrated customer service, sales support, accounting, logistics, and finance within a single operational structure.

Building on this experience, medddbase Germany was founded in 2007 to provide specialized operational services to MedTech companies. From the outset, the company operated according to high quality standards, formalized through ISO 13485 certification in 2012.

Sustained growth led to relocation to a larger facility in Laichingen, Germany, in 2019. The scalable operating model enabled further European expansion with the establishment of Medddbase Switzerland in 2021 and Medddbase UK in 2022.

In 2024, ownership of medddbase Germany transferred to Luigi Bivi and Manfred Menzi. As part of this transition, Medddbase International AG was formed as the holding company for Medddbase Deutschland GmbH and Medddbase Schweiz AG.

In early 2026, Healthcare Holding Schweiz AG acquired a majority stake in Medddbase International AG, integrating the group into its healthcare services portfolio.
